Caesar's Palace and Church (two separate things ;)

Yesterday Mark took me to the shops inside Caesar's Palace, here in Las Vegas. There was so much colossal architecture, statuary and fountains! There were a ton of designer shops, too: little ones like Armani, Tiffany's, Faberge, Versace, Dior, Cartier, and on and on. We bought a bite of chocolate from a shop (delicioso!) and we bought some foaming hand soap from Bath and Body Works. Nice! And we saw lots of people, bags/purses, boots, and bags/shopping type. Mark never rushes me now, and it's wonderful! We just got back from 12 noon church. I like this time cycle, which gets over in the afternoon still, yet is leisurely for getting ready. The chapel is huge and beautifully lit and bright. I'm so glad about that. The ward (Southern Hills ward) is mostly young people with energy and enthusiasm. It's quite refreshing, and I liked hearing their testimonies. Mark had to leave for work for a while, but he found his way back. All the sisters raved about how much they love Mark. He must've been masquerading as a nice guy. ; ) Mark picked up some hot vegetable soup for me, downstairs, and now I've eaten it and I feel much better. I didn't have to fast for Kittle Litty to come back. I did a different one - of thanks, because she showed up! It's a miracle, and I'm so happy about it! What a blessing! And that's that. Casinos, church, and miracles - that's my life now. (And Haley, tell Dallin that he can believe it : ) xoxoxo

How fun that you get to take your time and see all the neat places there! It really is neat to hear about, and see pictures.
You'll have to see if Camille Roskelley (the quilter) is in your ward. Probably not, but it would be neat if she was!
It's nice to have to back to blogging again and so fun that you have so many new places to go and see. Also, it just hit me in this post that you guys are empty nesters! No children at home! And no huge dog or time consuming animals to take care of!

Ooh, Caesar's Palace is amazing isn't it?! I'll be sure to tell Dallin he can believe how amazing your life is now. :) You will have so much fun sightseeing and shopping and meeting so many new different people.
I'm so glad the kitty was found! Thanks for telling us so we could not worry about her anymore. That is a miracle!
Keep writing, I'm loving reading about your life.

I am catching up on all the blogs, now that Alex and Tristan are back in school today, and it was soo fun to hear about everything you are doing down there! It all sounds so great, it makes me motivated to save money so that when I am old I can live in a place like that! Your ward sounds great and I loved the pictures of Ceasar's Palace! (But I can't see places like that without thinking, "The great and spacious building!!" Hehe..) It sounds so wondeful and perfect for you down there, the weather and people and things to do. It's like you finally retired, but without Doc getting bored!! Keep telling us about all the stuff you do, it is so fun to hear about and makes me feel all happy inside. Do you realize you have been out more and seen more people in one week there with Doc than in a whole month back here? We will definitely come visit soon- we are thinking in Feb. or March when we can't stand winter anymore! Thanks so much for praying for Kittle-Litty- that's probably the reason she came back okay! We're so happy she is home now and safe! Love you and tell Doc hi and eat some soup and cake for me! (It really does seem perfect that he can just go get you some soup. Wow!)
