You thought you'd never see this, but it's here...Mark and me, singing karaoke!

This is me the week before this (we didn't get a picture of Mark that week)

This is one of the palm trees in front of Mark's building
They are huge!

And there, right up the road, are Home Goods, TJ Maxx, and Glaziers - the best grocery store in Las Vegas

This is one of the entrances to Mark's building.
See all that green grass? That's Astroturf!

This is for all of Tut's fans : )
I haven't written for a couple of days because nothing's been going on! We watched the first night of American Idol, I've been working on getting Medicaid, I've been eating salad, and it's colder that it was earlier in the week, but still sunny...see?

This was in the late afternoon.
Mark is feeling better now, and we actually got some sleep last night!
Julie was here from SLC, but I didn't seee her much. We watched another movie with her and DeeDee and Jeff last night, and she flew back early this a.m.
I went downstairs and learned about the Paiute Indians yesterday. It was very interesting.
They are Indians from this area and Arizona and Utah.
They live in round shelters that they can transport with them,
just like they have for centuries.
I'll tell you more about them once I look some things up.
One elderly lady in our group is a former anthropologist and archeologist.
She has some historical books for me to see, up in her room,
and she invited me to write a chapter for a book about historical women.
I'd love to, but don't know that I could.
Anyway, it was fun learning about the Paiutes.
Hope your days are interesting and fun!
Remember to look for others who are lonely or need your help in some way.

Yay, I love seeing more of your life in pictures! You're lucky you live so close to fun stores; I have to drive at least to I.F. just to go to Target or anywhere remotely exciting. I'm ready to move out of Rexburg (and then I'll probably wish I was back in Rexburg). :) You look and sound like you're doing well, and I'm so happy that you got to take Tut with you, he looks like he was born to luxuriate. We miss you and Love you!
So sunny and nice! It was sunny here today too, but a big snow storm came last night and it is only about 19 degrees. Aiden had another snow day. He had three in a row a week or so ago. I don't like when Friday is a snow day because that means violin is canceled, and it is free so we don't want to miss any days this year!
Oh, the dream of having neat stores so close, and no snow to plow through to get there! It looks perfect to just take a little walk down to see what they have. I keep wanting to go to Homegoods. They have one in Charlston, which is about an hour and 15 minutes from her, but we never have any really good reasons to spend the gas to go down there. We have stake stuff there but it is always on Sundays so that is sad because then we can't check any of the stores out!
Tutt is a silly kitty sleeping in the drawer! Asia is really happy now that the doggy is gone. She's always coming downstairs and purring.
Just read Haley's comment and I wish we only had to drive the 23 miles from Rexburg to Idaho Falls to get to a Target!
