Really boring and lose

I'm just going to publish this the way it came out just to give you somewhere some laughs.

Looks but his visiting today and look at everything finally used I think for moving into the other room. Munchkin I went and looked at it last night and I think we'll be able to do well. There's a storage closet dude still at all that babe but its got some shows in it that we could probably use it down the hole that would be good difference when you have to wait to get in normal size refrigerator to put in there why. Right now there's is there's a tiny little half refrigerator in there in 10 me to do with that means name but we were thinking that we could make good it could put something for extra counter space up in love like to show sold for and then a few other things and we'll see her clothing items shows instead of using chest. So it's going to be citing would swear in there I think. This is the Caribbean site is much busier common because A always taking care of everybody on that site giving them their meds. They don't have people eater is your really really like memory care there. But there's still there medicine and meals or helping in damn and helping them get dressed as NBA the Union someone its it's much different over there it's kind of funny how old are wider and it's brighter and and we have to walk further to the elevators so we see a lot more people there. Will find out today I believe weather we paying an extra $500 to live there. Hoping we don't have to calm a bit what are too it's ha Windows Error will face the lease the ones we've been who wins repins off in this apartment face the northeast and knows with these soon southeast more. You can see you later try to the stake center at the window in the hole later room which is kind of me. I look forward to having her room themes like a love seat that would be so much more comfortable call me and and more things on her like a kitchen things. It must be mumbling because this is not picking up what im saying very well. I hope you all are doing well. Pictures of me in live looks like there's less is it really that way this is the way head with his phone and the ladies. Way this is really not picking up what I'm saying and the sentence is making its ridiculous. I'll have to office to delete some messages and type it out again. All except for his ankle which is this. rd to love say this please.
I've been redeemed the tree please remind its recommendations its very enjoyable. It's been overcast here lately but its a job for me in some way. The wash the windows of your side yesterday. Woohoo! I have a lot that I need to get done the side anything to do with movies. I just have things to take care of. A lot of details the thing planning. Well so I am working a landscape plan for downloading Haley's house. Just suggestions for their backyard. We weren't getting it until October 7. By the way. I feel kinda dumb silly hey it wrote down Whitney said um. Lol sentence is crazy. That everything's an ongoing process is it? I will just be glad when things are a little more settled. Works insurance goes into a sec December 1st. We have a lot of little expenses initially just like whenever you move. And also getting their phones. But we haven't forgotten people that we owe birthday present too. You'd better hurry and catch up as soon as possible though are things will start over taking me with new scenes new themes. So I can think to tell you about right now. I'm sure I'm forgetting it seems that I had to say it all and then men when I think of me thank you for your comments. I really do love getting mail then. Take care! We love you! XO XO XO

Piano we found out will need to pay the $500 extra each month. But still be saving about $500. And I wrote out things that I have to do and made it more organized so that helps, Plus mark is going to do some of the things that I need to do online coming so that makes it much less confusing for me and then less worrisome. Justin let us know what you need to her what your plans are for your wedding. That's really exciting to have that coming in. My boss came and went. That went pretty well. And that that's all that I have to add the right now. Love you!

Monday, Monday

I should tell you about what's been going on: not much. And that's a good thing.
However mark is not feeling well. He's still able to work but he's got a tummy ache. I hope  it will be better by tonight. I'm feeling well. If I was the cat I'd be purring.
Mark has a meeting with the person from Medicaid tomorrow and I hope that he's able to arrange where we're going to be here. So I think we'll move to the second floor on the Assisted Living side. That will have one bedroom and a small living room and not much of a kitchen but we can make improvements with shelving and cabinaet and so on. It will be eally nice to think wwe're staying.
Yesterday we got called as this people who make the calendar for the building and arrange what meetings are minute are in it. That's for the whole stake.  Seems like the perfect calling for us. Don't you think? It I thought that I had a lot to say that I really can't think of anything right now. If I think of it,

.,
Here's Mark yesterday

And here is what we bought at thefarmers market thinking it was a squash
it was a watermelon! (It's at the bottom of the pics)

and below are some pumpkins at Walmart see the one with all the things bumps on it better so gross Mark said that that was someone's head! Just use your imagination. Well we love you and we want you to take care of yourself XXO XO
And Here is our "squash".

Good news

Hurray!  Justin and Tara are engaged! That is so amazing and exciting! Congratulations to both of them and the kids! And to the future kids! Lol
Let us know how we can help!

Thank you for your comments on my post. On the last post the last picture is of the hill before you get to a point where we live. At the bottom of the hill on the left you see a large building. That's where we live! So you can see that it's very beautiful here. Now to the latest that's been happening calling . We got approved to stay here! The one thing we're waiting for is word on whether we need to move to the Assisted Living side of the building, rather then the independent living part. The only difference is in the rooms size and whether there's a a2 bedroom possibility common which is unavailable over on the other side. Plus common they don't have cabinets and cooking facilities a hurry or larger refrigerators. Also there are fewer closets. We probably will move to that side and have a much smaller place to live, but we can make it really nice in anyway. So that means then we'll move and get our internet. Yay!
Last night we watched never ending story part 2 which I've never seen before. It was much better than I thought it would be. And today Marc brought me a piece of his cheesecake, which was so amazing. I'd forgotten how good it is. It beats all the other cheesecakes  right out of the ballpark!
I'm not eating the regular meals here, just the things that we have around here to eat. Help my blood sugars so much. I just need more complex carbohydrates.
They serve the firefighters again today. It was a different shift, so it was different firefighters. I think that's so nice that they're doing that. Seth called last night. It's always so nice to hear your voices. I really miss associating with and talking to all of you. I'm excited and happy that we can still communicate via so many technologies.
The drive in is closed now so we can't look out our window and watch movies anymore, lol. Its cloudy today. Everything looks pretty, even when it's cloudy. The clouds hang low over the mountains and I love the view. Will try to stay on the third floor, so that we can have a great views.
Seth said he is doing well and he really appreciates any money that is sent. I had  no idea how important that is, because he elected not to say anything. But now he really appreciates being able to buy regular toothpaste and so on. I hope you can understand the gist of what I'm saying.
This is so convenient for me you wouldn't believe. I can just stay wherever I am and tell you what's going on, and then it has it. Then it posted. I've been playing something called candy crush anyway it only lets me play for a few minutes at a time because I don't make the next level, then you lose all your lives and you have to wait like 15 minutes before you play again. That makes me forget anything about it.
Well I better close. Take care of yourself and say prayers for each other. And thank you for your prayers for us! We love you! XO XO XO

Our weekend

I want to tell you about our weekend Saturday we went in the morning to the farmers market and got so much produce that was really nice from around here except for the sweet corn we got wasn't good at all so Mark just threw it away. Also we got tomatoes in cherry tomatoes that were so good and we got um a corn squash and um let's see if we can got some kind of apple shaped cucumbers that we haven't tasted yet and um and we get green beans which mark sautes for me, and we got um strawberries so much like the one st we had when I was child in our strawberry patch. we also got some apples and we got pears and we got some great big flowers 5 for a dollar they're like zinnias or mums, n really colorful. Lito went with us in he had a lot of admirers we could hardly walk without somebody stopping in in seeing him stopping us and saying how beautiful he was saying how big he was saying how nice. A lot of children petted him. It was so fun and it's hard to think of the words to say what it was like. The weather was perfect people were so friendly it was great. And it was also great that we got healthy food to eat. We also went to the library and got a bunch of movies to watch and for the next week. And Melinda I got a Tree Grows in Brooklyn. Sunday we went to church and um then we came home and had roast beef and potatoes on the kitchen downstairs, and I hate cherry tomatoes.
I said I ate cherry tomatoes. And now today um we're just waiting to hear from their human resources person to see if we can us stay here but like I said everything looks really positive and more excited there's a two bedroom apartment that they probably not going to be renting out without redoing it but it would be great for us. We could use one bedroom for storage for a food storage and other items and we could use one bedroom for a bedroom then there's a small living room kitchen combo thing but we don't need a lot of room it's not like we have parties or anything up here. If we got it it looks out over the front parking lot I think and it's just down the hall from the room we're in right now. It might look out over the West I can't remember. But it's bright and sunny. I'm just so excited to think about knowing we're in a place for a while and we can make it our own as much as possible. Then we can also get internet which would be nice. Certain things just don't work that well with the telephone, such as n moving email to other folders. I do like. Our phones yes. They do a lot of different things and you can use them away from home not just at home. They said that they're getting away from landlines and just plain phones. I don't know how true that is but I do know that the prices start becoming comparable so then it seems silly to just have a regular landline. If we get set up here then I will find a doctor and have my finger scene 2. It's not painful though, its just very crooked or bent. I feel like I must be boring you with the little details of her life. But that.s what blogs are, right? Unless there a blog about sometgingething in partir all the time like politics or entertainment. So we haven't been watching very much television because we watch the movies from the library. I'd love to not have television at all. I've never really liked television, even though there's certain shows that we watched. And I do like biographies and things that are on PBS. History Channel's been taken over by American Pickers and Swamp People in things. That's really sad. Several channels are taking up with reality shows like a duck hunters in swamp people and crocodile Swamp People and so on and that kind of big waves over to honey boo boo and and that connects2 Toddlers and Tiaras which connects to dance moms and so long

none of that picked up very well at all. Its really fun once you get used to it so wat you can talk to this machine and it types down what you're saying even if you say it really fast. In fact it seems to do it better or more correctly when you talk super fast.

Our thoughts are still with Heather and Mike and all the family out there in Missouri in there about. Sandy said it's really hard for Heather and Mike and the family but they're doing well in between bouts of remembering and being overwhelmed.

Here's some pictures from her they at the farmers market hope you enjoyed them we love you! XO XO XO

More Ramblings

I'm so happy to report that at things are looking really positive in terms of us staying
here and Mark's bus is really please with him so far and its rude wonderful things about him. Marks going to be making cheesecake for the firefighters here its just something that they're making lunch for them for supper whatever the meal is for them for 3 days to cover all the s*** I thought that was so nice.
Last night I fell in my bum in and it made its sore but I'm fine. We were just thinking about how crazy that would be if I was really hurt and had to go to the hospital, right before my medical coverage comes through. Fortunate me that wasn't the case. In terms of what's been going on for the last couple days we hadn't heard from Mark's bus and a couple of other really seems um that were strange were going on where Mark couldn't get hold of him and no one else could and that was very unusual. Then finally we heard from him today and everything's fine and it was such a relief. Last night it was scary to contemplate oh my god I should something weird happening again out of the blue? Then we think through to the ultimate conclusion: her possible disaster in its like okay here we come McDonalds. And then its just a reflex how loanable we all are at any time and what a heads we are eggshell heads. Then we regain our basis for our security and we joke about things and you know I will be in the moment anyway me and you can always improve any situation. Then we can relax and are OK again. This kind of experiences help us appreciate things when they are okay.
I haven't gotten quite good at expressing myself clearly on this tape recording that like device so right now I might not be expressing things so well but I need this to get better I need to go ahead and dive in it's so convenient. They have a lot of exciting plans here for the facility the next month. They're having all kinds of educational classes to bring in people from the community in the university did teach them things like how they make right on Union and um artists in history teachers and professors. Its sounds so exciting!
The speed at which this shuts off if you're not talking pumps need to speak quickly and get on with it which is a good thing. Lately I've been playing milk the million second quiz which is in an app you can get your for your phone that I talked about yesterday. I don't play it very much but the bursts that I do play a turbo very intense. Turbo had nothing to do with what I was talking about by the way. I left in the mistakes that I made earlier because they were so funny. This gadget is hilarious.! We've been watching videos that we got from the library. We watch something. Pretty much every night no matter what's on television, because movies seem more interesting or important. Summer documentaries but I can't for the life of me remember what we've been watching.
I've heard that the funeral and visitation and things went well for Hannah. I really admire Heather and Mike in their families generosity of spirit and the way they support of others and the waterey brought in the weber family as their own. I knew txhat thy would be that way because that's just who she is. I'm really proud that she's my niece common, all of you. Seth says there are gangss. He has to really work hard to keep them from bothering him, azan maintaining his integrity so as not to be questioned. Sounds like something that would be good at. He's doing really well at  focusing on tlhings that are constructive and positive and keep himself :busy. He makes things that areactually useful and sews  people shoes up in exchange for things he needs. So I'm pro about that. I'm proud of all of you for your independence  and drive to always improve. Also, ther in e's  no one that I would rather be with an emergency then you all, and that says a lot, if you think about it.
Take care of your souls we love you! XO XO XO

Ramblings

Well here I am out in Oregon when it's time for Hannah's funeral  right now and I really wish I could be there I'm sorry I'm  sending you lots of hugs.
l'm waiting to hear about whetherwe can stay here not or have to move to an apartment or house. Either one is fine with me. I'm just so glad that mark has a job and we are starting to feel like we're more settled. I wanted to tell you whoever's interested that I found my Alice necklace that I lost aboit two years ago. Isn't ytthat crazy? I found it in my wheelchair it drops down when we were at the motel in Portland. It's a miracle! Only blood sugars have been really high lately and I have no idea why just that they are all the time. This really no explanation. So if you get a chance say a little prayer for me that my blood sugars will be better. Its nothing to worry about its just something that would be better if it was better! I'll it s just a picture of me alat at a picture of me attach a picture of me if I can get a good feeling a good one. Well I love.  I've been playing the million second quiz games on my iPhone no its not and I found my droid anyway it's fine if you can download it if you have a way to and play it and then you get qualified after a short time of playing so that you can B on the show. Then the interview you and things he probably wouldn't pick me but they might pick you.

I got several biographies of Mark Twain for free at the library. They always have free books here that are quite good in hardback. So that's exciting. I'm reading on right now with pictures. It's so funny that he was born and spent summers later is a kid right near where we lived at parry. Now there's nothing much there at all. We went swimming there once. There were a lot of strange naps around the water. Matt nap lol little flies. Do you remember that any of you? I'm asleep Thursday right now that's not what I said I said I'm mostly thirsty right now rather than hungry. But lots of times they have um fruit and thingsmike that on a trade in jello things and so on better um that are good. I don't care for many of the main dishes hereotherther places either. I think that's because I don't really like lots of of meat Haley I can't get to my junk folder right now so I will try and get it downstairs. We love you a bunch  and take care XO XO XO

Experimenting

I'm trying this to post a blog post for my phone verbally so if I sound like the words are wrong it's because there its not picking up. So I've been messing around with my telephone and
And figuring out how to use this telephone to make a blog post anyway I'm repeating myself. So I been thinking about not thinking and its really helped me to be happier in the moment. I'm happy he remained blessed if I don't think about it because then I start feeling so much responsibility about what I'm using my time and money for that I can't even enjoy it at all huh. That haha wasn't meant to be in there. This is going to be so funny to see what it comes up lzike on the blog. So I'm happy about everything pretty much in it just a strange situation then I'm getting accustomed to. Um I said I want to tell you what I'm doing and um and I haven't figured out yet how to post pictures but I am I figured out how to take pictures with this phone and it's also got anything teachers were the pictures you take. I'll have to get used to speaking what I'm posting and thinking what I'm saying . I'm sure I will with time I think I'll be able to think more clearly once we know exactly where we're going to be staying in the console there I'm so used to being in love to I'm just I'm so use to being in permanent ink transient in waiting for things that um but its hard to cine until we get settled about other things so I just I just don't really have me peticular thing going on right now. Just each day is is learning new things and and relaxing and trying to keep a list of what I need to do and working on that list trying to find a doctor which we haven't really work done because I'm still waiting to hear from Medicaid. I also need to remember to return my library books and things which I'm eating, and remembering health things and trying to get a CPAP mask and get letters from doctors for Medicaid and now we have a telephone and um and it just rode in panties on it just wrote and panties on is not funny no I said isn't that funny? Anyway and print these off for Seth. It's so great how this just types my voice. Can you believe it? The wonders of technology. Well I'm going to try putting pictures on here so inch posting this post. We love you and take care. XO XO XO

August 2013 in Oregon

Hello!  Well, I started a post, but I can’t access it without the Internet, so Mark said to do this in Word again and he’ll post it for me through a zip file, however that works.  I’m excited to tell you all about things here in Oregon!
For one thing, Easter Oregon is a whole ‘nother country compared to the rest of the state.  It doesn’t rain a lot here, but is slightly moister than SE Idaho.  La Grande is beautiful to me, with its ring of mountains and its quiet quaintness.  I love that EOU is here.  And people are so friendly and relaxed, and it’s clean and natural-feeling.  I feel very at home here.
We are going to find out from Mark’s boss (a regional director, very likeable and capable, if we can possibly stay on site, with me being a paid Assisted Living resident on Medicaid (suggested by the Medicaid office).  Or we can get an apt. or house to rent.  At least we’d know one way or another, and could get on with that, so we could get the Internet.  And we need to get me a phone with long distance!  Things take a while because we hit the ground running here and we were gone last week, which was fun!
Portland is situated on the Columbia River Gorge, right across from Washington State.  It’s so luscious, like some primeval jungle, with mist-covered scenery.  We were wondering how the early explorers must’ve felt, arriving at these tree-covered mountains and pristine views.
I stayed in the room while Mark went to his training, and I slept a bunch for some reason.  That leads to dehydration, which makes me sleepier, so it’s a vicious cycle, but I was able to finish reading Anna Karenina.  And we went out to eat a night, 2 nights at a restaurant and pie house, with the best chocolate milkshakes!  Other nights we went to Sweet Tomatoes, a salad buffet, and one night we got really good pizza.
We also ate at St. Honore Boulangerie, which was a French bakery, very highly rated, that I found out about.  Some of their things, like croissants, we different, as in kind of tough and chewy, and other things were an unexpected delight, such as their pizza-like creation on a thin, crispy crust.  It had sun-dried tomatoes and zucchini and mushrooms on it, and was so tasty.  We also got a dense apple toast, round and filled with custard and cream – we  took that back with us.  And we got a strawberry and mascarpone, I believe, pie slice that was sooo flavorful and fresh.  That was super-fun!  Mark got a baguette to take back with him, too.
I was still glad to get back “home,” as it felt, away from the busy, jungle-y Portland.  Oh, I forgot to say that we attended the temple there!  It was a peaceful place, as always.  What was amazing was that someone from our IF ward was there in the session with us!  He works in Portland during the week – I didn’t recognize him, but we told him to tell the bishop and everyone hi for us.  Isn’t that such a coincidence!
Talk about a small world when you’re LDS:  Sunday we were invited over for dessert by a family in our ward.  Turned out, he’s our St. President.  Anyway, he grew up in our ward in Logan, he knew the Stones, he knew Mark’s bishop from Denver (from Mark’s later high school yrs.), his wife grew up in Littleton, where Mark lived there in Colorado, and something else, I forget what.  Oh, he knows Pres. Roylance, our St. President and friend in Logan.
So, we had a fun trip and we’re returning next month for a shorter training.  Next time I’m going to the Portland Rose Garden and Powell’s Books for sure!  They also have a zoo and museums and a Japanese garden.  Fun!
It’s great that Mark’s expenses are reimbursed for these trips, so it only costs us for my food.  :)
I see Mark several times throughout the day here, which is great.  One time they had a car show here, to benefit the local 4-H.  So the Dog Group had dogs there, which Leto loved.  Lots of people have dogs here anyway.  They are usually little, toy breeds.
A couple of nights ago, Mark took Leto to go outside, and there were 9 deer outside on the patio, eating the tomatoes!  Leto wanted to go play with those big dogs!
Leto likes the plush carpeting in our apt.  He really stretches out and sleeps deeply on it.  We had him bathed and his toenails trimmed before we came.  His paws are so cute now when he lies down with them out in front of him.  Also, in Portland we went to a Petsmart and got a big bag of his dental dog food, which they didn’t carry in I.F.  Along with his dental treats, it’s ‘Hello, clean teeth!’  Yay for a big, furry, clean dog!  The residents love him, and he’s been sooo well-behaved.  We can take him to Farmer’s Markets and so on now, and he behaves just like the dogs we always admire.
We are on the third floor here, which is very quiet.  We can see the drivein screen from our windows.  Last week they were showing The Smurfs, lol.  We have a kitchenette and small living romm and bedroom, with some big closets.  It’s nice, but there isn’t enough room for us, really.  They have a couple of bigger apts. (we wouldn’t take a large 2-bedroom one), but we’ll see.  If we get to stay, it’ll be worth it!
We don’t get many tv channels here in the bldg., without getting our own cable, but there are lots of high def. channels.  One channel has a show called Sarah’s House, and it’s great.  She guts old houses and redoes them, one room at a time.  I love it!   I can’t wait to decorate a place with what I have, really for the first time.  For one thing, I have better ideas, and I also don’t have cat fur to deal with.
That affects my feelings about my clothes, too.  I can wear all my black clothes, maybe with a colorful scarf, without being covered in fur, haha.
I love Tut, and I dream about cats, but don’t miss the hair!  I also always dream about baby horses, but will settle for collecting them on Pinterest.
We usually eat about 1 ½ meals per day here.  Mark brings them up here.  I just wave at people, but don’t know them.  I think it’s better that way, and I like it.  We do our own housekeeping.  Well, Mark does.  I straighten.  The food is quite good here.  And there are always choices as to what you have.
There is a nice library where you can check out 35 items at one time, including DVDs, so we have plenty to watch here.  There are cute little shops and cafes downtown, while Wal Mart is way out in Island City, a suburb.  There are other small towns around here (within an hour’s drive), one with a lake and state park.  There’s lots of hiking, and in Oregon everyone wears long shorts and sports caps and sunglasses.
The St. Pres. Said that Mormons were sent up here long ago, from SLC.   We are renewing our Temple Recommends, so we talked to the bishop Sunday.  He’s very nice, and really efficient.
My life may seem very simple, but that helps me to concentrate on my medicines, etc., and staying on schedule.  And I like simple and quiet.

Well, I think I’ll close for now and continue later on…
