Snowy Day - And The Horses Go to Bancroft!

Today Mark and Seth took Jewel and Buddy to Bancroft, to live with the Johnson Family (Linda's parents). It took them a half-hour to load Buddy, and the steering fluid turned out to be minus its cap, which made them have no power steering or power brakes, but they managed to get them there in one piece, even with the snow -
Thanks to answered prayers!
I might get some pictures posted here, if Mark took them.
In the meantime, I'll just mention that they were very brave to take them all that way on this Snowy Day!
And I wasn't sad at all.
Must've been the right thing to do!
We've spent the rest of the day here at home, snuggled up inside.
Seth works tonight, so Mark and I will probably break out all the Good Food!
(Just Kidding, Seth.)
'Bye, 'Bye, Boo Boos!

I'm glad the horses went to Bancroft, but I'm so sad I didn't get to tell Buddy bye or ride him one last time! I just asked Brooks this morning if he'd come with me soon to your house before they left so I could ride while he watched the kids. :( However, I'm glad they are at the Johnson's and hope they will let us come ride sometime! I'm glad Doc, Seth and the horses survived, especially with all the snow and weird weather today.

Hi! I'm relieved that the horses and everyone arrived in one piece! That sounds scary!
I'm happy for the horses, but I wish that I had gotten pics of the kids with them! Especially of Lainey with her hand through the knothole with grass in it! It will just have to live in my mind.
I laugh at all the food and fun stuff we bring out after the kids go to bed. I always suspected that was happening when we were young, and now I know I was right!! You and your "mashed potatoes"! That doesn't work with my kids, but I'm trying to get sneakier. :) Loves- Mel
