Oh My Goodness!

I have to write this right now, before I forget what this feels like: Mark might get hired back!

I know, I know...you're thinking, why would he want to do that? But it would mean that we could stay here in our house, near family members, in Idaho. All of that!

Plus, that's where Mark's heart really is.

It's not a done deal yet. But today, just as I was thinking about how Mark is helping his old boss so, so much (for what little he can get, on unemployment) and wondering how his boss will manage without him, Mark's boss was telling Mark the same thing - that he doesn't see how he can do what's in the works without Mark. Hallelujah and pass the corn on the cob (which we had last night, so just pass the cob). If they could work that out, if his boss can work it out, and things are put on paper, it might happen.

It's just so great to be acknowledged for all his contributions to the company, if nothing else!

He's still applying and interviewing.

So, meantime I'm watching Wives and Daughters on Netflix. I like it very much so far.

And I ate the blue and goat cheeses (very small containers, mind you) already. Ooh la lah!

I'm definitely getting more of that blue!
