Me, holding baby Hunter
A blurry, but cute, picture of Linda holding baby Joshua
That is, Book Club
Top, l to r, is Mary Robinson and Melinda Campbell
Lower, l to r, is Devona Davis and Pam Hart
This is at Mary Harshbarger's home
And this ain't all of us!
Can you tell that we have fun and animated conversations?
Okay, those are the pictures - now to the blog!
(Sorry my pictures are often blurry. If I take them myself, I have trouble with my hands shaking. Where is a tripod when you need one?)
Hi! It's so exciting to know that Megan and Brooks and family will be moving into their house tomorrow! I can't wait for them to get Internet there, so she can post pictures!
Sunday evening Haley, Dallin, and Hunter came to eat supper with us and visit. I got to hold the baby pretty much the whole time, and he is a snuggle bunny! He just nestled right into my arms and slept...such a little cuddly bundle. I loved it!
Mark favored us with the family meatloaf, baked potatoes, and green beans, followed by his banana nut bread. It was all so good! That is the banana nut bread he's entering in the state fair this year.
(Ooh, that reminds me of the things I need to do for the fair, AFTER I finish up some other things.)
Anyway, the meatloaf recipe is one I used to make, found in an old community cookbook that I rec'd. from the Weatherbees, back in Decatur. It's called Let's Cook! They gave it to me at a wedding shower they held for me at their home.
I think Mark has probably improved on the original recipe, but either way, it is so yummy!
We had such a nice visit!
Meanwhile, Mark's been helping Keith with paperwork
and I've been reading both outside and indoors
And that's all I can remember right now!
Take Care!
PS I've also included pictures of Lainey on my Butterscotch pony, taken a couple of weeks ago.
Isn't she cute? (Lainey, that is?)

Hi! I'm so glad you got to see and hold Hunter for so long and Joshua, too! That must have been very satisfying!
And I'm glad that you came to the book club! It's always so much fun. I really do look forward to it. I still miss Meggie and Maria, though.
By the way, I saw Lainey was wearing her blue bows at your house. Have you seen them around? I can't find them, and I thought maybe I left them there! Talk to you later!
P.S. I keep trying to call you, but no one answers. I don't remember giving you permission to leave the house!
So glad we have a picture of our favorite Pam! I miss the book club people, even though I didn't talk very much at those get togethers. Everyone always has such strong opinions and I never know what I think about the books!
It's so funny that almost every picture I see of Haley's baby he's asleep with his mouth open! Ha! They could play all kind of fun tricks on him as he gets older!
Check your e-mail for the salsa recipe and for the contact numbers for assisted living places here. I hope there are some openings so that if you have to move you can move close to us! We will even let you stay with us while you look for a house so you don't have to live at the motel! We are soooo ready to move out of it! 12 more hours to closing!!!
No, I haven't seen her blue bows here, but I'll save them if I do! Also, we found a Mystery Men in the wrong case here. Did you have Walk the Line in its case, by any chance?
hi noodle!
vanessa from v and co here just wanted to let you know that you won the giveaway on my blog and now i need you full name and address to mail out the pillow to you!
please email me at vanessa[dot]christenson[at]gmail[dot]com
thank you much!
Noodly Poodly, congrats on winning the giveaway! Hurray for you! I loved the pictures, and the news, alhough I must say that the picture of Hunter makes him look super ORANGE! It must've been the lighting, plus I do think he has orange-ish looking skin anyways, but just not that orange. That was one of the nicest visits we've had with you guys, and the dinner was so delicious of course! I told Doc today that Dallin has eaten all of the loaf of banana bread you sent with us; and every time he ate a slice he'd go,"MMMMmmm..." just like Bob in "What About Bob". :)I'm SO glad you finally got a chance to hold and snuggle Hunter. Isn't he a snuggly baby? I could tell he was soo happy that you just sat there holding him the whole time (and you never had to stand up and wake him up!), and you kept his binky in his mouth the whole time so he was really content. I like that about him, but sometimes it's nice to be able to sit him down so I can go to the bathroom evey once in a while!
Haha, Megan, that's so true about Hunter sleeping with his mouth open in almost every picture. We WILL do great tricks on him when he's older. :)
Anyways, wish us luck on our trip to Washington! I'm a little worried about what Hunter will think, but I think he'll like being carried around wherever we go. I'll take lots of pictures to show you guys when we're back! Bye for now!
Hi, Haley! I went back and corrected the color some on the photos of Hunter. Sorry. I don't know what the problem was, but I know that he isn't orange like they were!
fun fun babies
Oh! I love that first picture of you holding Hunter. It's frame-worthy!
Such a lucky boy, to be cradled by such a loving grandma!
