These are my new 'Specialities' (as the actress sooo charmingly utters, in 'Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken') - those things I am now extra good at, obsessed with, such a stickler for, and so on (at least, as of two days ago):
a) Self-care, as in doing MANY blood sugar tests, getting dental and eye exams, taking daily Forteo injections (bone-strengthener), doing my hair and my nails, lavishing care on my skin, developing my own sense of style. In essence, The Works. Taking excellent care of myself, every day b) Being extremely punctual and organized; think 'The Wedding Planner' c) Being Mrs. Clean (not that I wasn't before, but with only one limb in use, poor vision, and shaking, numb hands, I haven't been able to do much myself; now I'll talk about it and everyone will know, daily, how important it is to me. Illusion is half the battle! :) d) Finishing many of my art, craft, family history, jewelry-making, and home decor projects ('finishing' being the operative word). I know, it may take me forever with my hands and vision so bad, but with small scale projects, I Can complete them! e) Finishing many beautiful, old-fashioned letters, cards and packages (see 'd', above) I know that sounds like a lot, but some things piggy-back on others, and then it just snowballs in the other direction, right? (A couple of them are resolutions I made in January. The ones I've not yet kept. Oops! ) So if you see me out and about, you might just notice some changes...I might be glowingly healthy and beautiful, calm, yet sharp and utterly prepared, sporting a bag filled with the accoutrements of meticulous blood sugar control, and glittering with all my self-designed and elegantly crafted jewelry... Oh, and carrying a dog-eared, high-lighted, and ultra-flagged Relief Society manual! ;-)
Catch you later! xoxo

Do you have a new calling that we don't know about yet???
Also, that doll is cute! She looks like the college girl that our 11 year old selfs would long to be. We'd think her life was perfect, just because she's cute. :)
Yeah. I love Tyler Wentworth. She is perfect.
And, no, I have no new calling. The R.S. manual is just the only lesson manual I have!
Ah, I want to be like that too! I loved your descriptions. It made me want to try harder to be better. I have this quote on my fridge by Pres. Hinckley that says, "Try a little harder to be a little better." Good thought, huh?
