Trip to Dallin and Haley's!

Hello!  Well, our trip to Jolley-Land started off with a Jolley bang.  We were leaving around 1 p.m., when we got a call that Alex had had a seizure at school.  Melinda went to get him (I'll let her tell you the details), and Mark went home to get something I'd forgotten.  I just wanted to hug Alex, but he wanted only Mom.  He was so tired, and had a goose egg and a small fever, but still wanted to go to the school carnival that night!  We watched him for an hour or two of observation and meds; he  wasn't quite with it, but seemed well enough to leave with Dad.
So, we gassed up the Campbell monster-vehicle, then went back to Melinda's to give Danny the garage door-opener, went and got Phillip, then stopped somewhere else, where Melinda's shoe fell apart!  Then we stopped by the school for Melinda to reassure Alex's teacher.  We laughed about our crazy-late start, and finally got away around 4 p.m.

Here are my pictures (Haley and Melinda have more):

We got to see sweet baby Paige for the first time!
(She has Dallin's feet :)

Lovely Haley
(I know I took pics of Dallin - did I use Haley's camera?)

And on the trip home, the sky wasn't on fire
It just looked like it!

The clouds looked just like smoke plumes coming from the mountain peaks

We had a wonderful visit:  Among other things,we ate some great meals of homemade soup, meatballs and rice and other recipes from Easy Peezy Lemon Squeezy; I went to Hobby Lobby for 3 hours; Haley and Melinda visited the mall: Dallin and Phillip bowled and went to the Tate Museum with Hunter, then went to Red Lobster for all-you-can-eat shrimp (they each had at least 6 platefuls!); we played Wit and Wagers; we watched 2 hilarious Jim Gaffigan specials; and we went to church with them.  Monday we visited the grocery store and had delicious hot bagel sandwiches for lunch
before we departed.

The trip home was great, with no trouble.
Thank you, everybuddee, for making our fun visit possible!
We look forward to seeing you for Thanksgiving, Jolley family!
We love you!

That was a wonderful visit! So so fun. I love the pictures, the sunset is gorgeous, and the picture of Hunter looking at you is so cute. Oh and of course the pictures of Paige are adorable. :) Thanks to everyone who sacrificed and paid gas money to get Mel's big truck out here! I have SO much to blog about, hopefully I'll get a chance to do it this afternoon. Thanks for writing about this trip Noodle. We love you!

Looks like a fun trip! Except all the prep work to get out of town and on your way! What a crazy afternoon.
Haley looks great, and Paige is another little elf looking baby! Dallin and Haley have elf looking kids, just like Haley looks. They are so cute! I bet Hunter was super happy to have his grandma there.
