Yesterday we went to the Boise Temple rededication broadcast. They held it instead of regular Sunday mtgs., and you had to get a ticket from your bishop to attend.
We needed white handkerchiefs, too, and the stores were sold out.
Mark had his from the Nauvoo and Palmyra dedications (Seth used it for the latter one, when he was 9 yrs. old), so Mark cut one out for me, from a thin white tank top I had.
It worked!
It was so cool to see the prophet talking to us live.
I thought that Jesus might return during the dedication,
but, apparently, He didn't.
I'm not being flip about it, either.
I really did feel like it could happen.
Btw, Kattie went up to see Bishop Baird,
who told her, "It's really true."
Nice to hear his witness.
He also mentioned food storage to her.
And the great love Heavenly Father has for us.
That makes me so happy!
That night, we watched this movie:
I don't think I'd ever watched it so closely as we did last night.
There are so many small, hilarious things in it.
We enjoyed it so much,
I'd like to get a copy from Clean Flix or somewhere,
Because there is a small amount of swearing in it
That is very jarring and out of place.
Thanksgiving is coming up,
And Mark has kept the lines hot between here and Melinda's house,
Planning the menu and divvying out who cooks what.
I feel excited about it!
Oh, and I fixed the previous post with better pics, I think.
Tell me what you think, okay?
Love Youse Guys!

How neat that they did the temple dedication for church! I wonder how that felt for people that couldn't pass the interview though. So, they just didn't get to go to church?
And that is so neat what Br. Baird said! It will be exciting to hear what else he has to say as he get better.
We haven't watch Blast From The Past in years. My favorite part is when they stock up the place with food and she goes shopping in her own home. Wouldn't it be amazing to have a food storage like that!
