Family (added to)

The above lovely lady is my great-aunt, Margeurite Farnsworth,
one of my Grandma Wakefield's sisters

I'm a Farnsworth and a Wakefield and a Buis and an Ellett and a bunch of other lines
from England and Holland and Scotland and Ireland,
through Virginia and Kentucky and Indiana and Illinois.

I've lived in Illinois and Texas and Missouri and Idaho and Utah
I have kids living in Utah, Wyoming and West Virginia,
besides Idaho

We come from farmers and school teachers and waitresses and gamblers
and art gallery workers and dress sellers
and mailmen and telephone operators and painters and railroad workers
and hair stylists and singers and dance teachers and first aid workers
and war veterans and on and on

I've been a mommy, a clarinet-player, a clerk/typist, a Tupperware lady,
a substitute teacher, a cosmetics consultant, a 4-H and Cub Scout leader,
a  rose grower, a CNA, an EMT, a Residential Habilitation owner,
a pre-paid legal services consultant, a college student,
a reading, writing, and psychology tutor, a writer, a collagist, a jewelry-maker,
a teaching assistant, a Psychology intern, an armchair equestrian,
an actor and a classical radio deejay

I am married to someone who has been a daddy, a missionary, a grocery stocker,
a college student, a Clinical Psychologist, a taxi driver, a CNA, a silicon chip maker,
a teaching assistant, a stained glass artisan, an Arabian horse breeder/shower
an Assisted Living Administrator and on and on

I have kids that are mommies and daddies and nursing students and dancers
and phlebotomists and EMTs and computer systems experts and writing teachers
and missionaries and receptionists and models and retail booksellers
and cafe managers and district trainers and photographers
and medical equipment managers and firefighters and medics
and college students and language teachers and Cub Scout leaders
and morticians and actors and roofers and equestrians
and Red Cross workers and substitute teachers and dance teachers
and veterans of war and on and on

I have grandchildren that love to dance and sing and learn and do Scouts
and play piano and do science projects and play on the computer
and draw and play the violin and play soccer
and all kinds of things!

I know I'm forgetting a LOT,
but this is by way of showing how strong and varied
our family is,
and that's not even counting our extended family!
I  hope it also points out how much we have to be grateful for

Happy Thanksgiving!!
I love you!

What a fun list! It really does show the diversity within the family, and shows all of the many things people have accomplished!
