September Season
September is so beautiful this year! I sat outside reading today, all morning, and it was about 65 degrees with a light breeze and a bright sun. Perfectly perfect!
Since then, I've been reading blogs and organizing lists and ideas and talking with Seth, who is gone now. I'm here by myself almost allll the time! It's fun.
Leto is getting even smarter. He understands when I suggest things like going to his food bowl (other end of the house) and eating a couple of bites, or going to his water bowl (in our bathroom) and getting a drink, or just staying nearby. It's amazing sometimes, how he truly understands words.
Mark is doing fine still, and we talk a bunch on the phone. I never worry about him, because he's good and smart and brave and can take care of himself. I love him, btw. hehehee (proud, wicked laugh)!
I took the best bubble bath this a.m. We use Ivory dish liquid for bubbles. So relaxing.
Tomorrow I go for a bone density scan and Seth has his class. He's going to the store for me tonight. I want the ingredients for banana nut bread and choc. chip cookies~ yum!

65 sounds perfect! It's still in the mid eighties here a lot, which is still too hot for me.
Leto IS a smarty pants dog! He probably thinks he is protecting you now.
I hope you get to make some bread and cookies! We are eating choc. chip banana bread over here. Doc's recipe really is so good and easy to make too!
September is beautiful this year, isn't it? I love hearing what you're doing every day, and after you wrote about buying chocolate chips I went out and bought some too! :) I do wish baking was a LITTLE bit healthier, but I've been finding some "healthier" treat recipes that I hope work out! If they do taste good, I'll write the recipe on our recipe blog.
I am putting new fluffing (is that a word?) in our couch pillows as I type, because they're all smashed down from lying on them. Now I know why you always told us not to lay on the couch pillows! :)
Oh, and I'm so excited that you get to go visit Doc soon! You'll love all the cool stores there!
I'm glad you are feeling better than in your last post. September has been really nice this year. I hope Halloween in nice again, too. That is so much nicer for the kids, and us too! Leto is smart. It reminds me of how I would talk to Sprat sometimes. I always knew that he could have lived with me, and would have learned what I was saying and things. I guess Leto is so big it's almost like having a horse in your house! I keep dreaming about Sprat for some reason and missing him. I will have to do a Sprat post like I said I would, but I am afraid it will make me sad. Keep enjoying your sunshine!!
