When You Know Something is Right

First, I have some good news...ta da! Mark should be back on salary in about one and a half weeks! Isn't that great? I think things are much better this time, with a renewed committment and appreciation, improved operations, and a better outlook for the future. I'm just glad we don't have to move!
Okay, so:
Last night we were all in our room, with the French doors open and Leto loving that. We were eating bacon and garden tomato sandwiches, and it was just after sunset, so beautiful and peaceful. The horse in our back pasture was whinnying every once in a while, and the lights in the room were glowing.
We had just been reading and talking about how our prayers are answered, and the good feeling you get when you know something is right.
I guess you know how I was feeling...
Right then, it was just right.

You know what? I know exactly how you feel. It's such a good feeling, isn't it, to know that you're in the right place at the right time, that God is watching over you and he is happy for you. Ah, that's exactly how I felt when I prayed about marrying Dallin, and when I found out I was preggo with Hunter. And it still feels like that when I take the time to listen.
I'm so happy for Doc! Hurray! Thank goodness you don't have to move. I also loved your descriptions, talking about what you were eating and the horse whinnying. It makes me happy. :)

Ahhh, and just today I stopped at an open house on the way home from church to find you a great, way too expensive home close to us! I am glad you aren't moving. if you do move I want you close to us but that seems like almost too much to ask. "God, can you get him a job AND a good place to live right next to us? Please?!!!"
I love your french doors and your horsey neighbor and Leto guarding you from the flies and bacon and tomato sandwiches. And I love the feelings you guys felt right then. It all sounds so, right. Hehehe. No, I love those wonderful feelings and a good setting makes it even nicer.

Yea! I'm very excited for you and soo glad that you won't be leaving! I definitely know the feeling you are talking about. It is a good, peaceful feeling.
I'm jealous of your garden tomatoes! Your sandwiches sound so good and I love all the sun at the back of your house. It's so warm and bright and the horses being there is so nice and the mountains. I'm happy it all felt right to you!

I LOVE that feeling. Whenever I get it, I do all that I can to hold onto it, because it's just such a relief to once again be told by Heavenly Father that I AM doing what he wants me to do, even when satan is trying to confuse me with everything about life. And I'm glad that everyone knows that feeling too! It helps to know you're not alone.
