Baby Blessings and Baking Entries

A Proud Papa on his baby's blessing day
And on his own 35th birthday!
The following are pictures taken at the park,

Blueberry Muffins
Banana-nut Bread
Strawberry-Chocolate Cheesecake
(with an Oreo crust)
Rocky Road Brownies
Triple-Layer German Chocolate Cake
Above are Mark's five creations for the fair, all his own recipes: Strawberry-Chocolate Cheesecake; German Chocolate (extra chocolate) cake; banana-nut bread (he got these really close to the way my mom's banana-nut bread tasted. Yum!); deluxe Rocky Road brownies; and his amazing blueberry muffins. All Super-delish, made with the best ingredients,
Guar-an-teed!
Mark and Seth took them to the fairgrounds early this evening.
Mark says some of the ladies oohed and awed.
Good Luck, Mark!

I bet those ladies would love to be in your place, with a husband that can cook and bake such pretty and delicious food! Doc's food looks fantastic! I hope he does well at the fair.
And the babies are so cute! (Did you accidentally say that was Hunter with Linda? I think it's Joshua. The baby looks like it is in a blessing suit.) Thanks for all the pictures! Ben looks really happy holding his little baby boy.

Megan, I knew that was Joshua - I'd just been typing Hunter's name, and my fingers thought they should stay in practice, I guess, 'cause they sure didn't type what I was thinking!

Ahhh, I love having all new little babies around!!
And Doc's fair entries look sooo good!! I can't wait to see how he does!
Also, I love the pillow you won! I hadn't seen that, and the little books you made for Joshua and The Hunter. I saw Haley's on Sunday and it was really cute!
Now, where can I get me some banana bread?

I love all the pictures you put up of your family! And the pictures of Doc's fair entries made me super hungry, and I just ate like 5 minutes ago.

Thanks for putting up so many good pictures! I loved the descriptions too. Hunter and Joshua look kind of similar, don't they? Probably because they're just so close in age. Doc's food looks so beautiful, it seems like a sin to enter it into the fair where they eat one little bite and then throw the rest away! But I hope he does well after all his hard work! I was going to enter Dallin's grandma's roses in the fair, but I accidentally forgot to take the exhibitor's handbook to her house (and we couldn't print it off from online for some reason) so it didn't work out. :( I was sad, but kind of relieved to not have to drive to Blackfoot with Hunter in this super hot weather. So in the end it all works out! Today we took Hunter to about 50 different stores, finding some new school shirts for Dallin (he hasn't been shopping for clothes since high school!), and getting groceries, and trying to find a certain baby carrier/sling that we ended up not finding. It was a busy busy day! I think I'll go to sleep now. I need to take advantage of every moment Hunter is asleep! :)
