Thank you, thank you, thank you, Megan! You, too, have answered
my questions, and it was so fun reading your answers! (These things
really help us learn about each other, like a Family Home Evening game
would :).
So your answers reflect a lot of common sense and good
judgement regarding your choices for yourself and your family. Wouldn't
it be interesting if the boys would answer these same questions?!
I
see that you do different things at different times of the year and then
work a little at a time towards larger goals. I like that your
children have to limit their choices and select what they MOST like to
learn. Also, I know they have to earn things by doing something else
much of the time. Those habits are so good for them!
One thing you
excel in is having family activities. And Brooks is great about being
involved with the kids. That's a real blessing.
I would hate to die
when I had small children, but other than that, I think Heaven would be
like everything here x ten, at least, so I look forward to dying. I
used to dream about it a bunch, and I would be going up and up and
everything was wondrous. I love that feeling of enchantment.
I don't
dream of it much anymore, and I am happy with life. Mark and I want to
die at the same time. Even better, the Millenium would come and we
could all be *twinkled*.
In terms of fear for your family being
traumatized, remember that there are mechanisms that can make the
experience easier than it looks. I didn't see or feel anything when my
foot was sliced up when I was nine (I got it caught in some bike spokes
as they were going round - I was riding double). I couldn't figure out
what all the fuss was about. My foot looked normal to me!
I hope
that helps some. The best thing is the Pres. Faust quote about not
taking counsel with your fears. I tend to be fine most of the time,
with little phases of acute anxiety.
Anyway, I was saying about being
happy with life - I especially like the autumn season, and I would love
to visit museums and learn things! I love that we live in the future,
based on what I thought the 2000's would be when I was little. That's
sooo cool! I've lived to the year 2012! That's crazy!
And I want to
fish and ride horses and write more, and just lie down in some flowers and
look at the sky. I want to swing in a big tree swing, preferably up on a
hill. And swim in Bear Lake again, and also go rock-hunting! That's
my bucket list.
Your books sound darling - you should write them! I
started a kid's book which I was illustrating. I like it, too. It's
packed up now, and I have lots of things to do like that. My favorite
is art work.
Thank you for your answers! I'm going to post these comments, since they're so extensive. Then I'll have them in my blog!

I like long comments. :)
You had great questions! It's fun asking each other strange things and seeing what the others say.
