Hello!  Today Haley and Hunter went with Melinda and kids to the zoo and, afterwards, Melinda watched Hunter while Haley and I went to Kohls.  I'd never shopped there before, and I was amazed at their selection and service.  I found a number of things I'd been searching for such a long time, including some pjs that are comfy yet pretty.  Those are so hard to find!
I found these light blue denim capris (they look way better than they do in the pictures) that will be great for this summer.  Also, I found oodles of knee sox, which I really needed (it's hard to find ones that stretch enough, and I want them to be colorful, too).  I'm rather hard  on my sox, which you wouldn't think, but they don't have shoes to protect them.  I just loved finding a good selection!  Yay!
Things were on sale, plus Melinda had a 30% off coupon that we used - ka-ching!

After we shopped, we headed to Melinda's to watch her four youngest (doesn't that sound funny?) while she went to a school mtg.  Hunter had missed his nap, so he was on mischief watch, and Irelyn was afraid of us, even tho she tried to be really brave.  It was so cute.
Haley made some noodles for them and we played the Rotten Egg game before Danny the Cavalry arrived with Subway sandwiches.  That was my cue to leave, but we sure had fun adventures together.  There are so many details that made our day memorable, like Leto beating us outside by jumping out the window, or Kattie doing manicures while we stopped in and said hello.  Or Haley drinking the water from Hunter's sippy cup, out of sheer, desperate thirst.  Or us trying to figure out which combination of deals would save us the most moola.
And tonight (Wednesday) we are watching Danny and Melinda's kids (while they are in bed and we watch Idol on their tv) so they can go see a new lds production, being performed for one of the first times by our stake!   See?  Fun!

FUN! And that is just crazy that you hadn't been to Kohl's before. They have really nice things, and lots of good sales. Add the sales with your coupons and you can get really great prices! Mel usually has coupons so you'll have to ask her before you go next time too. I got the girls the cutest horsey nightgowns at Kohl's for their Easter baskets. The girls look so cute in them! In fact, I want to be little and wear a horse nightgown too!
Ummm..... When do we get all the grandma benefits?! You need to come visit us too!
