Another Grandbaby!
Last Sunday Linda and Ben welcomed baby Joshua to their family! He weighed 6 lbs. 2 oz. and he has short, medium-brown hair. He's quiet, they say, and likes to look around. We're so happy for them!
Sorry for the delay, but I was waiting for some pictures to post - always a bad idea... :/
Right now, Keith and his boys are here mowing the back pasture and hauling away junk that was here from their construction on the house. Last night Mark used Keith's pressure washer to clean the outside of the house and the porch and patio. Yay!
Beixi says that next week we'll work on staging the inside. If anyone wants to have a work party, I'm taking volunteers! However, everyone just had babies or is expecting, so I don't think that will work out so well. ;)
Mark is still applying for jobs, pretty much anywhere. He hasn't heard back from anyone on the two jobs he was doing phone interviews for, so we still have no idea where we'll end up.
Phillip is still visiting us, and it's been so nice to have him around. Right now he's outside working with Seth and Mark. Seth got a job at Burger King, and so far he likes it, I think. They're busier that Tastee Treat, which makes the time go faster, and he can excel at that because he's very coordinated.
Anyway, that's all I can think of right now. Sorry no pictures yet.
I love you!

Noodle, every time you post there is so much new news! Tell Seth congrats on getting a job! And I really hope Doc can find a job soon. Has everything been figured out with his last job/boss??? I can't wait to see the new baby! I hope he and Hunter become good little friends. I can just see it now: Joshua will be the sweet, cautious boy and Hunter will be the brave daredevil who will always get them into trouble. :)
Congrats - hope to see pictures soon.
No, Mark's still looking for work, Haley.
WOW. That is so good that they are working on getting the house and yard beautified! What do you mean they are staging it? Is it going up for sale? Are they bringing things in, or just arranging your things?
I need to call Ben and Linda and tell them congratulations on the cute little beeble loo.
Oh, and you should take pictures of all the stuff going on at the house! Like the yard work and stuff. Did they finally move all the old car and stuff away?
Yeah, they moved the car a long time ago, but they got all the junk up and Mark borrowed a backhoe from Jason's cottage home construction, to get up the smashed concrete that was by the house. There were so many tarps behind the fence! They were all wet and gross, with lumber mixed in. Yuck!
And they took the two old chairs off our porch, so it's all nice and neat now. I'll take pictures.
We still need to trim weeds where the concrete was, but it's so much better already!
They aren't bringing things in. Just helping clean up yesterday. We are "staging" the house, to get it ready to sell as soon as Mark gets a job.
Good idea, I'll take some pictures!
