The Adorable Anya Gets Comfy
Wednesday, Megan and children took me to I.F. for Book Club, which I hadn't read (Orson Scott Card's Past Watch). It was great to see all the Ladies of the Club. Towards the end, we talked about politics, which is always interesting. I love our group, and it's fun to get to know people I've never met and read books I never would have (plus, have yummy refreshments like Maria's pies and ice cream!).
In between, we got to play with these little hooligans:

Caleb's Call...
Yesterday we got a call from Aunt Sandy (my sis), and Caleb got his mission call - He's going to Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada! That's right by Prince Edward Island and all the Anne of Green Gables sites! Congratulations, Caleb!
Also, last night we went on a little excursion to the ER, prompted by a sudden drop in my blood pressure, due to fighting a dental infection. I'll almost for sure get all my upper teeth pulled, even though they seem perfectly normal! How strange...But it's an opportunity to show that I'll find the humor in any situation.
Hellooo, Choppers!

Love the pictures! Laney's eyes are sooo blue! Too bad you had to go to the ER, but at least it didn't happen while we were in I.F. or Rexburg, and good thing you got to the dentist. Bye, beautiful grandma teeth! Should we take some teeth pictures?
Yippee for Caleb's call!!!!
I loved your pics and your descriptions! Thanks for visiting me, and taking pictures of my house! I can't wait to decorate for Christmas. I'm going to move our big black shelf thing into the living room and put Christmas stuff on it and hand out stockings on the hooks on it. Won't that be cute??? Say yes. :)
And that is so exciting about Caleb's mission call! Wow, he's old enough to go on a mission already?! Weird...
That's kindof scary about going to the ER - I'm glad everything's okay- and of course I never hear about it until like a week afterwards. Sigh... that's what I get for living in Rexburg. Communication is slow to get to me. :)
I loved all the pictures! Life seems so much funnier in pictures. Maybe because it gives you a little perspective. I like how you called my kids my "living ornaments". That is soo how it feels sometimes!
That is sad about your teeth. :( You really are inspiring, though. That you can have a sense of humor through anything and make the best of it! Do you think that will really happen with your teeth? Soon, or later?
Oh, I'm glad you told me about Caleb's mission call! No one here knows yet, at least I don't think so.
Thanks for coming to visit! It was real fun! We want to coem visit there soon. Maybe this coming weekend? I'll talk to you soon! - Mels
Thanks for the comments, my little Blog Readers! No thank you, Megan. I have enough memories of my beautiful teeth...time to move on! And it will be soon, oh yes, it will be soon...
Haley, your ideas for decorating sound just divine, and I can't wait to see it all Christmas-y and cozy!
(All you girls have so much fun decorating for and celebrating the holidays; you're inspiring me to have more fun. Yay for creativity, and for Pres. Uckdorf's(?) blessing on our satisfying art projects! AND... yay for compassionate service and anonymous surprises! I love doing that, don't you?)
And, Meldoo, I'm excited to come visit you and your Living Ornaments again, real soooon! Probably when I'm up there for the dental stuff.
Megjill and I want to get up to Porter's again, as soon as we strike it even Richer! (Come on, people, put us in your wills or something!) (Just kidding...I don't know anyone that's rich enough to have an estate, anyway, and I don't want people DYING to 'Spread the Wealth!)
Keep up the readership and the comments, people. And, Tamathy, I know you're out there. 'Fess Up, Niecey already!
