It's Almost Christmas...

Hi!  And Merry Almost-Christmas!  I couldn't sleep last night, and yesterday I had muscle spasms in my back from making things all day, the day before, so I couldn't do much of anything!  But I promise to keep trying to finish up.  Halers, yours is basically done, so it will be mailed asap.  I know it won't get there in time, and neither will Megan's box.  So solly.   I am really trying, and it's not some weird thing I've done, like procrastinating, ok?
Please comment on my blog if you read it.  It's sad when I get so few comments, after working on a post for a long while.  : (  Help my frown turn upside down!
Actually, I'm quite happy with all we've accomplished:  Mark has been working nonstop on various projects, and we mailed a box and card with letters to Mrs. C., have stuff for the Bishop, gave stuff to Lori, plus Mark's old boss, Misty D., my visiting teaching ladies, my aides,  Eleta and Nesta (my elderly friends), and maybe others.  That's beyond our immediate family, like Kattie and Ben.  And we ordered Seth's stuff (through the place he's at), sent him a little m.o., and ordered him a Book of Mormon (it has to come from the publisher), plus sent him a card, letter, and photos.  We have most of what we have for the fam., too.
You may wonder why I didn't do the mailed stuff first, but I did.  I'm just still working on other boxes getting mailed.
I'm pretty punch-drunk right now, 'cause it's almost 7 a.m.  Sorry for rambling on.
Have a wonderful Sunday!
I love you!

Wow you guys have done a whole ton of stuff lately! And really, don't feel bad or worry at all about our boxes getting here by christmas- it will be really fun to have something to look forward to after the anticipation of christmas is over with. January is such a depressing month to me, so it will be exciting to have something fun happen! Sorry I haven't commented lately- I feel like I barely have time to read it and then I definitely can't comment right then. But I'm going to go comment on your other post right now!
Isn't it fun being almost Christmas? The anticipation and holiday spirit are so thrilling, and I"m sooo excited to see Hunter's face on Christmas morning!

I get super excited when I see you posted again! Just don't know where all the other bloggers went. If it makes you feel any better, I rarely get any other comments besides from you and Halers, and I too feel sad when no one comments!
You have been busy! Don't feel bad about being late on things! Most of us aren't stuck on some time table anyway. We get things done when we can and try not to worry about the rest. We have treats made for neighbors and friends but have only gotten a few sent out. So maybe if we don't get the others out, we will just eat their bags of treats instead! Hehehe.....
I am really excited about the Christmas season this year. I think the whole Newtown thing helped put things into perspective for so many people. I've heard of soooo many people doing extra things for others, and just being grateful for their families and what they have. I feel the same way! I just want to keep everyone safe and well.
Our kids have been counting down the days until Christmas and with tomorrow being Christmas Eve, they will get to open one gift, which is jammies. I don't want to make that a "HAVE to do it"tradition with the jammies, but it is fun the years that we do.
Anyway, call anytime! Brooks is off half of this week and we are just going to be lazy and finish some grocery shopping and stuffs like that. Oh, and I am watching Downton Abby and loving it! We'll have to talk about it as I get further into the first season. :)
