We had such a great weekend, and purposely went to The Dark Knight Rises on Friday to start with, because we didn't want to let the shooter in Colorado change everyone's lives in the way he'd probably planned to.  He'd done enough.  And, even though it was long in parts, imho, we enjoyed it and were glad we'd seen it.  It was kind of like a balancing out of the trilogy, and very satisfying.
Saturday we took Leto and had him bathed and brushed, with teeth and toenails attended to.  The groomer and the products she used created quite the clean, fresh, new-scarved Leto.  His fur is so soft and his coloring so gorgeous!
We also got him a halter, rather than a collar, so that our "pulling" lessons don't drag on his neck (I'm teaching him to assist me on slopes), and so he can't slip out of it so easily!
Then we came home till it cooled off some, and we went fishing!  No bites still, even tho we used earthworms and a better pole (probably still too hot), but it was beautiful.  The water and sky were equally clear, and there was a slight breeze.  There were patches of lush grass where Leto lay, between his frequent deep drinks of the pond, and he was able to be off his leash.  Mark explored some with Leto, which Leto loved.  It's just so good for dogs to have those experiences out in nature.
Yesterday we went to church and we watched Australia that evening - such a good movie, though silly in parts.  Hugh Jackman is fabulous as the cattle drover.

We're still enjoying our apt. very much.  I love the peace and quiet and all the sunlight and sky.  Ahhh...

Oh no, I hope you don't have to move again since they're bringing in new management! At least most of your stuff is already in storage so you don't have too much to move...
Your weekend sounds heavenly and I love that you tell the details of just one day, whereas I just give tiny glimpses into the past week or so. I'm going to try to do more detailed posts too so I can remember the little things later on. You should post a picture of shining Leto! Hunter asks about him every once in a while. Hunter also told me, "I'm gonna cut off your legs like Grandma Doc!" Oh boy... :)

I love it when you get to go fishing again! It always makes me happy for you.
I think we need to pet Leto now that he is all beautified! He really is the prettiest dog I've seen, and Winston was by far the cutest dog. Awww, poor Winny Pooh. I wish he had been a good potty trained dog with a brain instead of just a ball of cuteness!
Anyway.... I still think that is awful that they let Doc go! We will keep looking around online and such for work for him. The house across the street that is handicapped accessible is still for sale! You should probably sell your Pocatell house and become out neighbors. :)
I still haven't seen the Project Runway episode but will watch it soon so we can talk about our favorite designers!

Bahaha.... I just read Haley's comment about what Hunter says. Scary! Watch out, Haley!
