Not really coming down, just happening. The sun is out! It transforms everything into Kodak Moments! Suddenly the yard is so lush and immaculate, the mountains are winking and sparkling their snow, and the apple tree is covered with leaf-babies!
Leto and the neighbor's sturdy Lab love to play in the yard. Leto is 'dominant doggie,' but perhaps that reverses when they are in the Lab's environs. Anyway, they're so cute together, and Leto is getting some exercise now. Yay!
I'm slooowly improving. The dr. said they couldn't help any soft tissue injuries in my knee, 'cause they can't pull my knee apart for surgery (I'd heard that before - if you get knee surgery, they're pulling your leg, by way of your foot.)
I went to book club! I got to see Haley and Hunter before b.c., and he was very smiley and able to crawl like a little puppy running after a toy. I got to see Melinda and Danny's kids and Justin, too. I really enjoyed our visit, and the strawberries, grapes, etc., with blueberry-lemon cake, weren't bad, either. ;)
I managed to make it home just in time put my leg up. Oowee!
Not much else going on. Tut is a bedroom cat now, always under our covers. Isn't that funny? And he just expects it, like it was always his due and he knew he'd get it someday. Funny Tut.
We're excited about Phillip's visit in June! He just called, and he's in Louisiana (where the humidity is 'killing' them), training for urban fighting. That's in anticipation of deployment (prob. Afghanistan) in Dec. or Jan, he thinks. Wow. Hard to believe he's going back over there.
Other than that, Seth is fine, Mark is fine, everyone's fine. Hope the sunshine lasts... : )

I can't believe Phillip is going back to Afghanistan- wow, I wonder how he feels about that... But I'm really glad that he get to visit in June and hopefully we can plan a family get-together so we can all see him.
That was really fun seeing you before the book club, and thank you so much for the book. I really love this book. Oh, and Dallin thanks you for the inhaler. He's going to use it this next time he plays basketball, and we're pretty sure it's going to help him a lot. I'm glad you got to see Hunter crawling around, and you're right, he is just like a little puppy who follows me everywhere. It's cute most of the time, but sometimes when he gets into everything it's not so fun. :) Keep resting your knee, I hope you feel better! Love you!
Oh, and I also didn't know that Phillipe is in Louisiana! That makes me reallllly happy that we're not there right now, we just barely missed the terrible humidity. Even when we were there I thought I was going to die of heat stroke. Whew, glad we're back to good old DRY Idaho!
Tutt IS a crazy cat! I bet if he could have talked he would have whispered to Jazzy how she was getting old and he was going to take over after she died. It is still weird to think that she is gone.
I'm glad it is warming up there! It was 89 here today, but not too humid or anything. It actually felt just right, except for when she sun was right on you! Audrey, Anya and I did errands (mailed your little giftyloo) and stopped at garage sales. One had TONS of cool antiques but they were all pretty expensive. Still fun to look at though. They had a really neat old croquet set. I don't usually think antiques are THAT exciting, but it was beautiful.
Now it is raining.
I REALLY hope Phillip and us can coordinate our trips out to Idaho! Then we could get a family picture with all of us! This might be the last chance for a long time to get all of us together. I hope so much we can get there this summer and that Philly is there at the same time! You'll have to tell me which days he is looking at visiting.
And that is CRAZY that they are looking at being deployed again! Isn't there a limit to how many times they will be sent out?!
I hope the sunshine lasts, too. I'm so glad you came! Thank you and to Doc, too. It was so fun to see you again and the kids have so much fun seeing you!
