Seth and I have been experimenting with Leto.
First, we called him "Karl" for a few days
Just to see what he would do.
He didn't really like the name
But now he'll respond to it, if he has to
For our second experiment Seth went out on the back patio
Where I usually sit
He sat in my wheelchair
And
Leto came running inside to get me out there in my place
It was so cute
Mark did the third one
It was his idea
He put EKG patches all over his face and looked at Leto
(Wish I had a picture of that!)
Leto just stared and stared
Looking totally puzzled and confused
Awww...
We love our Leto
Really. We do.
Also, this past week, Mark has been working extra hard, I have been reading about the 1900 hurricane in Galveston (in a book called Isaac's Storm), and Seth took a test that he did really well on! That's along with the usual things, of course.
And Megan and Brooks and children are getting ready to move. Sigh...I'm excited for them, though. It will be a big, new adventure with a lot of opportunities. Maybe Megan's cousins, Muezet and Dana (Richard's wife) will drive over from Virginia and help them hunt for houses!
That would be nice.

Awww, your pictures are so cute. I love my kids and find them adorable, BUT, Leto is competing for some of that love in these photos. He looks SOOO pretty! So nice of Karl, I mean Leto, to want to help you out to your chair on the patio. And so smart of him to know that EKG patches on your face aren't fun or normal.

I miss Leto! Funny wittle doggy. And is it just my imagination, or did your back lawn have GRASS in it?!!! Coolness! I'm happy for Doc, who has always taken amazing care of his lawns. Which reminds me also, that I haven't visited you in a long while! If only I didn't have class every single day! But I really want to come back and help you clean some more (for free) and visit with you! We'll see when I can...
