Digging In and Digging Out
Well, I've started on my first room, and it sure feels good. I took before pictures, and Seth helped me move the furniture around. I'm wanting to finish it before I show before and afters, but I can tell you that it's waaay better now. Our bedroom seems huge now, and way more accessible! The French doors swing wide open now, and I can see the tv from the computer, which is convenient (if we have to have a tv in the bedroom - I'd prefer not). I can get to all of the drawers in my chest now, and I can reach my oxygen, my jewelry box, and my c-pap machine. I slept so well last night, dreaming about my parents and my grandmother on my mom's side, all passed away, plus my sister and her husband and kids. And cars that don't work properly!
That's the dreaming twist. Phones and cars never work, I can't see where I'm driving, and I always have small children, babies, or kittens to watch. Sometimes I shop or visit museums and antique stores. Other times I go for walks in the woods and I try and fish. Often there are horses in my dreams.
Oh, I forgot. I want to thank Megan of bakedasia for her help getting my blog words up top the right color, and also for her tutorial which showed me where to go to get elements to combine with my own illustrations or photos. I loved having the choice and the flexibility to make my header uniquely my own. It was fun to do, and now the whole world can view a little window into my heart. :)

Noodle, I'm so glad you have your room better! Can't wait to see it, and Mel's things that she is redoing. It sure is nice of everyone to make changes before I move so we can see them in real life! We have been planning to clean the garage out this next week, spring break, but apparently there's a storm and cold front coming in on Sunday. Also, Brooks has to work a whole lot next week on his thesis. Not much of a spring break, but hopefully we can get some things gone through!
I had tornado dream last night. I hate those. There were several tornadoes and they were HUGE. We were trying to get all the kids downstairs in time (I think we were at MaJo's) but it took so long. I was at the front with Anya and Brooks and Aiden were at the back. I was very scared for everyone, not sure if we'd get down in time. Then we realized that you were home all alone with Leto and knew that they came fast and we were trying to get a hold of you to see if you were okay.
I hate thee dreams, and they seem to come a lot. Can I go fishing with you in my dreams tonight? That sounds so much more pleasant.
By the way, Haley and I went to Logan today and had a good, relaxing time. There is a HUGE store there that you could sepnd hours in. It's called Hobby Lobby and has everything- every kind of craft possible, decorations, flowers, trunks, Easter stuff, fabric, etc. Also, they have really good deals, like 50% off. It was lots of fun. Look to my blog later for more!
Mommy- I just love your new blog header! It is so romantic and dreamlike and with just the right amount of Asian influence in it. It is just so pretty! Now I want to do my blog, too! But I think I will work on finishing my projects here in the real world first!
I am excited that you are getting to go through your rooms. I thought your bedroom was just awesome with the rearranging! Much more feng shui. It felt great!
I gotta go now and write to Kattie before it is too late. Have you guys been reading her letters on her gmail account? They are amazing! She is the funnest missionary I have ever read letters from! They have crazy stories and amazing people and everyone looves her eyes and they tell her all the time that she has a big nose- I think they are all in love with her! Call me if you don't know the password! Love you! - Mel
Don't you love it when you wake up and remember in your head perfectly what you dreamt, but once you try to explain it out loud, it doesn't really make sense? That happens to me all the time. I usually remember my dreams quite well, but when I try to explain them, I get all frustrated and feel like I sound dumb because it makes sense to me, but no one else!
Oooo, I absolutely love your blog header thing. It is so pretty and relaxing to look at. And I'm so happy for you that you're organizing and getting things done. It seems like everyone is fixing things up lately. We must all be sick of being cooped up in the winter!
Love the header- very pretty. I'm working on my room too. We got new book shelves and desk. we might turn into grownups. love t.
