TutandPrizes

Here are some pictures of Tut, in his usual poses around the house:
Doesn't he look happy? He has perfected the art of basking in his blessings And here are just a FEW of the items I brought home from our girl trip:
I added these gorgeous, deep red flowers to my other flowers
and the cattails we gathered last fall Do you like this arrangement?
I put some artificial flowers (from last year) in this rustic sprinkler,
and some artificial lemons in one of my blue bowls (from 2 years ago)
And artificial cherries in another blue bowl Yay for fakes! They make it feel all summer-y in our kitchen They are all from Tai Pan in Ogden
This is the table runner I bought at The Quilt Shop
in Gardner's Village, south of SLC You'll note that I have empty frames and the wrong picture in one frame Those aren't my grandchildren They're my children! Oh well...it's a process, right?
You can barely see the little etched-glass dome
from Anastasia's Attic in Gardner's Village, but I love it It's very fragile-seeming and beautiful I'm going to put it on a little crystal plate I have from the kid's great-grandmother and I'll make some miniature desserts to place under the dome Won't that be a good way to display them? I love making miniature food out of clay! I'll post more pictures later :)

Tutt and his kitty porn! Are you sure we should be seeing that?! Tutt is such a silly, happy kitty and I love those pictures of him. You should try to get some shots of him in his Ramen Noodle box.
Even though I got to see your prizes from our trip in real life, it is so much fun to see pictures of them! Now you'll have reference pictures to remember over the years what you got. The cherries in the blue bowl are my favorite.

Ah, the computer just ate my entire comment! Wahhh. Well I guess I'll type it all again. I want a kitty like Tut- he's so happy and relaxed and those pictures capture him perfectly! I love all your girl trip decorates. They're beautiful and perfect and I can't wait to go to Utah with Dallin now! He'll be so sick of shopping. :)

Love the pictures of Tut-he was always my favorite out of all the cats you guys had. .I think my least favorite was Hamish. . the name for some reason was weird to me, and I didn't know what to think of her squashed face.:) BUt she made a great object for the video Haley and I made in 9th grade on "How to Shave a Cat". I remember our speech teacher thought that was so gross. . even though it wasn't! Wow. . I totally went off on a tangent there. Whoops. But great post!

Tut is so funny and is the epitome of "relaxation". He should be in ads for resorts and things.
I love the things you got on the trip and how cute they look! I want some cherries!
And I was laughing so hard remembering Tara and Haley's video "How to Shave a Cat." (See Tara's comments) Soooo funny!
