Hi! Did you know that tomorrow is Justin's birthday, and Saturday is Sandy's birthday? And Sunday is Father's Day? And Phillip was picked up in Nebraska by Justin and Danny, and they got in on Sat. evening and they all yelled Happy Birthday! to me, over the phone?!
Exciting times! Even tho we have no definite plans, it's exciting to know all these things are happening, Phillip is getting to visit, I'm really middle-aged now (Hurray! I love getting old!), and anything is possible!
Mark's been doing some work on policies and procedures for Shauna, for where she works, and he's been applying at different assted. living places around the country and talking to people, asking them to keep their heads up for job opportunities, and so on.
I've been enjoying the clean bedroom and having Mark around more, Seth went camping and fishing with his friends (in the rain, no less), and I've read The Bounty, by Caroline Alexander, and am now reading a new bio of Louisa May Alcott, by Harriet Reisen.
Leto loves it when I read, because I go outside with him. I love to sit in the sun and read. I keep my face away from the sun, but I can feel it on my head. My hair blows around and my shoulders and back are warmed and it's so deliciously peaceful.
In the long, cold evenings, we get on the bed and watch tv - many cartoons and movies. I watched an old Randolph Scott western yesterday, "Fighting Man (maybe of Kansas?)." I was surprised by how engrossing it was. Very well done!
Tut spends lots of time lying out in the sun, and I look online for job opportunities while I eat plain oatmeal, in the mornings. And I talk on the phone (quite a lot) and write the occasional letter (not so much ;). Read and do blog posts. Talk on the phone. Do Primary assignments. Work on art projects when the house is warm (it's not been heated for quite a while, since it's not that cold - I just want to be warm, so my hands are more flexible for the work). Later on I'll start fishing. Yahoo!
My daily life holds a nice mixture of activities, wouldn't you say? I would!
Love You!

How old are you now anyway? I can 't remember! All that sounds nice and relaxing. Well, except for the job hunting! That sounds scary!
I'm so glad Danny and Justy were able to get Phillip so he wasn't stuck in Nebraska. That is a boring state to be stuck in! Hopefully we won't get stuck there, or anywhere. We can't wait to see you guys again!
If we were to sit outside on the deck and read we'd be sweating in just a few minutes! Unless we are in the shade it is pretty hot here. Everyone has their air conditioning on and the houses are cool, which make it okay. And it's not so hot that you don't want to go outside, but we do plan early morning and evenings to do yard work and stuff instead of mid-day!
I am leaving for camp in a few hours and still haven't packed or made trick toothpaste cookies or showered or exercised! I think I better go get productive or my ride will show up and I still won't have anything done!
Your daily life does sound very relaxing. Isn't it strange to think that you don't have any little kids around that you have to take care of? Just this morning, I was telling Dallin that I can't believe that I used to be able to leave the house whenever I wanted. I just went and exercised at like two in the afternoon without giving it a second thought! Now it's a huge ordeal to get out of the house with everyone ready, diaper bag, purse, car seat, etc. But I love it! :)
Isn't it exciting that Megan will be here in ten days?! I am soo excited to have them come visit me, and to spend days/nights visiting at Mel's, and I'm really excited for the fourth of July. The only problem I have is that we don't know what to do with Hunter during the fireworks. We might just come home to Rexburg and miss the fireworks this year, if we can't find anyone to babysit him while he sleeps at Mel's house, which will be almost impossible. Soooo, lots of fun stuff happening soon huh?
I'm a little behind on posts, but your birthday present from Doc sounded wonderful!! There is something so heavenly about a clean bedroom, especially in the summer with the windows open. Ahhh....
Your days sound full of lots of different things to do, which sounds good, but I will be glad for you when it is warmer and your hands work better! Isn't it neat that the things you make for the kids, they can keep forever and remember that you made it for them? That makes me happy.
I loved your dream and that is amazing that Doc had the same dream! I want to dream neat things more often. I don't dream as often when I feed a baby in the night, even though she only gets up like once a night. She is so cute and roudny today, you would just loove her!! I will squoosh her for you and kiss her fatty cheeks and puckery mouth!
