Holding Down the Zoo
I thought that would be a funny title, since Mark and I have said that we are just caretakers at the zoo or pet store. With Seth gone a lot, we're outnumbered! The cats have their quilt on the bed, just for them, and the door is open behind me (it's cold!) so that Leto can sit out on the back porch and feel comfy and proud about watching over the inside of the house also.
He also watches over the horse next door, the pinto. He loves to just look out at it. Funny dog!
So that is what I'm doing: letting various pets in and out of doors, while I watch Animal Planet for encouragement. :/
Really, tho, it's fun.
Mark said Giselle's wedding was very nice, that Bruce R. McKonkie's son (Joseph?) performed the sealing ceremony, that Giselle looked pretty and the reception was at a cool place, and that her new family is super-nice. Jeannie's son-in-law with the private jet flew in a couple of other relatives, and Mark felt like the poor relative, 'cause so many wealthy people were there.
Just kidding about him feeling that way...but it was very impressive and the food was great! Mark brought me back some, so I know about it. I had chicken caesar salad (yum!) and fresh fruit and some cookies and cake. All delish! Thanks, Mark and the Stephensons, for a taste of being there with you. Mark said they took lots of pictures (I'll post when we get copies) and that his dad seemed to be in better health than he'd feared. Yay for Grandpa!
So he had a good trip and was home fairly early, and that's most all the news!
I'm feeling well, and I hope you all are well and safe.
Love you!
xoxoxo
p.s. I'll try and find those pictures to post. : )

I can't wait to see the pictures of her wedding! Isn't it fun to see how wealthy people live and what they eat! That salad sure sounds good. I think I will make ramen noodles. :) We were going to make veggie burgers but then got distracted and took too long at the store. So the kids ate cereal and yogurt, which they were really excited about.
I bet your animals know that they rule the house. Jasmine knows she is the queen and you are her servant. What she doesn't know is that she is an OLD kitty and you will take over when she dies! Wahaha!
I got some meds for Audrey's face stuff. The pharmacist said that he didn't think she has impetigo and told us to get some Benadryl cream. So we got the Equate stuff and will test it out on her tongiht.
Hi! I just read Megan's comment- I wonder what's wrong with Audrey, I'll have to call her!
I'm so glad that Doc enjoyed the reception. I am glad that you got to sample the food too. Yum yum, it sounds really good. It's funny that we have all these rich relatives on that side; how come we don't become better friends with them? Just kidding. :) But just tonight Dallin and I were talking and we both agree that we don't want TOO much money, because then it's just overwhelming. We would just like enough to get by and be stable and secure... five million dollars is all we need. :) hehehe.
Keep writing so we know you're alright!
I'm glad Doc got to go and I can't wait to see pictures! Can we borrow the private plane and fly some to West Virginia? Tell them we will bring our own peanuts. :) Have fun with the kitties and other animals at your zoo. Speaking of animals, I think KittleLitty thinks she takes care of the baby when we don't. I wake up at night sometimes and she is sitting right next to the bassinet watching Emme sleep. Maybe Emme's stuffy nose keeps the kitty awake, too.
